Twit

I'm still trying to decide on what sort of a format I should use for this blog... I know, I know. I haven't posted. Many apologies. Been busy, alright? Chill for a minute or two. I'm a busy woman with needs. And grumpy family members.

Anyway we're on our annual road trip for the holidays. I don't know if you celebrate Christmas or anything, but I hate it. I can't wait for new years, which is a way more enjoyable celebration. I hate the stress of having to buy presents that people will like and making sure you know who's getting you presents, so that they won't feel insulted if you don't return their gift with one of your own. It's all immensely frustration and frivolous. Especially when you have to get a gift for a wife, husband, girlfriend, or boyfriend. That just takes way too much effort. Can't we just be like "ah, happiness, cheerful, woo, spend time, world peace" and forget about something as shallow as gift-giving? Don't get me wrong, I like a gift here or there. It's sweet. But it's become such a stressful and expected thing now. Something spontaneous out of the good of your heart rather than something that's expected and required is much nicer.

Anyway, that was my rant about Christmas. For now. Leading up to the holiday I might get another rant or two in and I'm sure there'll be something awful that happens which I absolutely must share.

If you haven't caught on, I'm very cynical at times. You'll get use to it eventually.

Now then... What else? Today we were in Canmore, AB, and we went to this awesome coffee shot called Good Earth. I got the best earl gray latte, or London fog, and oh-em-gee it was so good. I wanna go there every year now. It has the best view of the mountains, is really cozy, and sells good, healthy, fresh food. The workers are amiable and it's a local place. I highly suggest going there.

Another note... I got twitter! If you're not satisfied reading long rants from me on here, you'll find something more cheerful, usually, and much more often, on my twitter page. Here's the link if you wanna check that out. Fun times up in here.

To continue... We went to the Olde Tyme Candy Shoppe, which was really epic. I love candy. So much. I also got a Coca-Cola in the glass bottle... Highlight of my life.

Till next time.
